Hybrid Enterprises was set-up in 1997 by Mike Bates and Mike Stringer.
The firm creates SFX Makeup effects for Film, TV and the Media sectors.
Mike Stringer runs Hybrid Fx's Prosthetic Makeup Facility and is responsible for overseeing every aspect of Prosthetic & Makeup Design.
Creator of Hybrid's in house developed Silicone Prosthetic Material, his knowledge of the material is unmatched in the industry to date.
With extensive Silicone creation and application experience, Mike has created some of the most memorable disguise makeups from the original 'Saturday Night Takeaway' with Ant & Dec to the long running Irish celebrity undercover show 'Anonymous'.
From the Opening Ceremony of the 'Athens 2004 Olympics' to the Bollywood blockbuster 'Dhoom 2', Mike is constantly pushing the boundaries of materials research to make every effect that is applied by Hybrid to be as perfect as possible.

Mike Bates
A former VP and Director of Equities for a leading Global Investment Bank, Mike brings his strong Business and Mangement skills to the firm.
From initial production meetings to script and budget breakdowns, Mike also Supervises crews On set and has applied Prosthetics and Makeup for many productions.
Having appeared under complex 'Old Age' prosthetics for a advertising company and a period of time taking Method Acting classes, Mike has seen both sides of the business and is well versed in dealing with the problems that can crop up on any shoot.
