We are proud to announce Hybrid Fx's Prosthetic & Makeup team on the hit BBC2 show 'Undercover Dads' has been shortlisted for the 'Team of the Year' RTS award.

This will be their third nomination in four years and it recognises all the hard work everyone put in to make sure the disguises on the show were as polished as possible.

A special thanks to Dawn, Ricky and Suzanne for working crazy hours and creating so many fun 'Mega Nannies'

We are proud to announce that we are now offering several of our courses at two new locations around the country.

The stunning 'Tres Health & Wellbeing' Centre right next to Chelsea Bridge Wharf is our London location and the first course dates start from Saturday 17th July.

Second up is the 'Greenwoods Hotel & Spa' in Stock, Essex which starts later in the year from October.

The majority of the week long courses will always be run at our Studio as it is our main facility but we will open up more courses at these new locations as soon as feasible!

We have also updated the website to reflect these changes, please choose:

'Studio Based Courses' for Studio Courses in Guiseley.
'London Based Courses' for London Courses.
'Essex Based Courses' for the Stock, Essex Courses.

Finally we recently added a 'Facial Lifecasting' Course which we reccomend to any makeup artists looking to really learn how to perfom perfect lifecasts. It's a skill we feel is poorly presented in the industry and now is the time to polish your technique.

Starting from Saturday 3rd July is our latest exciting course, the 'One Day Intensive Facial Lifecasting.

Covering every angle from preparation, the latest materials used to how to make your Actor or Celebrity feel comfortable in your hands,  Award Winning Prosthetic Designer Mike Stringer is there to guide you through the often daunting prospect of getting that perfect cast done safely.

Our rather belated (but still highly interesting if we dare say so!) 'Pro Fx Makeup Tip' is now up on the School Blog.

Covering the many varied cases Makeup Artists use to lug their gear around, its a subject that touches everyones hearts.

Available to book now is our second 'Introduction to Prosthetics' One Day Course.

Running on Saturday 8th May, it will be a fun but intensive day and we do suggest you book early if you want a slot.

Don't forget that you also receive the cost of the One Day Course back as a discount if you then go on to book a week or longer course in the future.
